It is simple if we focus on negative things then we will have negative things happen, on the flip side if we focus on positive things like gratitude we will have good things happening to us. And not just us but to everyone around us. It may not be possible be positive all the time, simply because we are not perfect. Life is not a straight line it maybe curve but ironically is the moments of darkness that allows us to have more drive to go on and be thankful.  Often times ego gets in the way of our decision making.
